The many hints that Satoshi Nakamoto won’t be back

The many hints that Satoshi Nakamoto won’t be back. On January 3, 2022, the Bitcoin network will turn 13 years old and the inventor of the cryptocurrency has always been a mysterious figure and about ten years ago, he went offline never to return and it is quite likely that he will not.

Satoshi Nakamoto will not return

In October 2008, Satoshi Nakamoto published the Bitcoin white paper, using the email [email protected]” and the web domain “bitcoin.org”.

Many assure that Satoshi Nakamoto will not return. It is a Japanese alias or fictitious name. The date that appears on the P2P Foundation page suggests that he was born on April 5, 1975. If this is the correct date, he would be 46 years old today.

Detectives have tried to identify the inventor over the years. However, it is likely that he is dead, as there are many reasons to believe it. Bitcoin.com News has covered several of the suspects claiming to be Satoshi, as well as the famous inventor.

We know that Satoshi Nakamoto left two messages before disappearing. On December 12, 2010, the inventor wrote to the community about “exploring more sophisticated ideas.” On December 12, he addressed the issue directly, emphasizing that “software is not impervious to DoS attacks.”

Satoshi Nakamoto will not return to the Bitcointalk.org forum to discuss anything else. Emails to Mike Hearn and Gavin Andresen dated April 2011 came to light years later, saying, “I’ve moved on to other things.” The rest of Satoshi’s communications have not been proven, and there are still many wild claims and speculations.

Unclaimed wealth

However, Nakamoto did not return after receiving these communications and it is likely that his health prevented him from returning. Some believe that Hal Finney was Satoshi Nakamoto’s most plausible possibility.

Finney died in August 2014 of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and left the PGP Corporation in 2011, the same year that Nakamoto delivered his last emails to Hearn and Andresen.

Finally, apart from the lack of communication for ten years, the inventor’s fortune remains unclaimed.

If Nakamoto is still alive, he is supposed to have a million bitcoins. But the over $60 billion worth of BTC has never been seen and if it dies, the coins can be lost forever.

Ultimately, there is not enough data to prove that Satoshi is alive or dead. The absence of communication in time does not mean that he is not still alive.

Furthermore, the fact that Satoshi did not spend or move the $60 billion of bitcoin created in the early days does not prove that he is dead. Nakamoto’s cloud of secrecy was excellent enough to ensure that we weren’t. With this it is evident that Satoshi Nakamoto will not return.
